Litter trays?

Just wondering which ones/types of boxes people have used and where I can get them relatively cheaply? I dont mind paying a bit extra though if theyre good.

I have a tall sided storage box at the moment with a hole cut in the side. My brother didnt cut the hole very well, so its leaking everywhere because its cracked and Dolly pees over the edge of the hole

Im going out today, and was just wondering if the covered cat litter trays are actually any good?
Or if there are any storage boxes that are particularly good.
I used to use under bed ones, but they dont contain the hay very well and it goes everywhere. Im just afterone that minimises mess as much as possible.

I've got quite a deep tray that I found in jollyes. I put it so the lowered end of it is against the wall and it seems to be deep enough that even when toffee digs it contains it.

We use these and now most of our customers have got them

They are potting trays but they are fantastic for two bunnies as they can and do cuddle up togther on them with room to spare, they are great for disabled bunnies or bunnies with a touch of arthritis and they seem to love them as they sit in the middle just nibbling away at hay. Yes sometimes a bit of hay comes off when they come out but we wouldn't be without them. We got a lot of our's off ebay and some have worked out a lot cheaper than the usual bunny litter trays.

The problems with them is they are big and wide and so take up a lot of room.

We use Poundstretcher underbed storage boxes at 3 for £10 - they contain the hay ok as long as you don't fill them up too high (like Hudad does, I like to be in my tray, not perched on top of my tray )

We use cheap washing bowls from various shops .... mostly tesco i think. they are pretty deep and keep the hay in well

Dog beds work really well too for our outdoors () buns

This is how Marley and Dolly are when i use underbed storage boxes!
I had thought about the dog begs, but they have holes in the bottom. Poundstretcher sell them without holes, but theyre too wide to fit in their pen.
Maysie, How deep are your potting trays at the front (the shallowest part)? Ive had a look on ebay, and are yours approx 2ft x 2ft?

Hector has this one in that size (large). It also comes in jumbo, that might be good for Marley & Dolly. The lip/lid really helps to keep everything in.

I thought about one of those, id prefer something bigger though. Its so hard to find the perfect one, who'd have thought litter trays could be so complicated Ive always various sized storage boxes.

That's the ones we have. Unfortunately Molly discovered how to take the lip/lid off so it only stays on for about 30 seconds. I gave up using it some time ago

Ok, so its a toss up between the potting tray and the jumbo litter tray. Do they do them in store? Ive just had a look at the size, i dont think ive every seen them that big in my local store.

They do in my local store. They're on a high up shelf in our one though, maybe that's why you've not noticed them in yours
