Oh my, that really does look sore

Is that just from mucus running out?

This is 5 days since her penicillan injection, the scab has come off itselfs, ive tried bathing it but she hates her nose being touched very sensitive dont wanna hurt her .

Also her nose happened in 2 days, i noticed it looked a bit wet one day the next day it was scabby and had too wait another day too get her too the vets because they were fully booked.

I agree with you and Sparky, this needs to get checked out, perhaps by another bunny savvy vet? Whatever they are doing/treating her for is obviously not working!

Thank you hun, its the worst its been her nose this time and this all happened in 3 days . my vets literally seem too think theres nothing else they can do just too give her penicillan. They dont want too do blood tests....at a loss with my vets. just feel for her so much as its obviously very sore.

Oh dear that look's quite bad and very sore. Has Rosie anymore scabs anywhere like on her private part's or on her face as with them using Penicillin injections I'm wondering if they are treating it as vent disease/ rabbit syphilis if so penicillin is about the best treatment.

you know that sooo looks like what we call a cold sore which is herpes simplex I agree that she may need to see another bunny savvy vet x

I stand by what I said earlier, I would def try another vet. It could make such a difference for Rose.

You poor loves, both of you. it is upsetting enogh having a poorly bun without worrying about if anything else can be done to make them better Please let us know hun and lots of love is on its way.

ive checked her private area today (she was shuch a Gem), looks a little sore and a bit scabbyish tbh at the moment its not wet. When i go too the vets i will be asking about the syphllis as she has had this before when she was only about 6 months old.
Poor rose has had problem after problem and is at the vets every 1-2 months. if they cannot tell me what it is she has etc i will be looking into another vet who is specilised in rabbits.
