Vibes for Theo please...

Theo has done a horrible smelly cowpat of a poo  

We're hoping it is just a combination of heat, heavy moult and possibly an upset tum. We've thoroughly cleaned his room and all his litter trays to monitor poo production. We did give him some pineapple juice last night and this might not have helped. Our latest bale of hay was very green and fresh and he only had some of that for the first time last night. Although everybun else is fine on it, we've dug some of the previous bale (browner and drier) out of the bottom of the hay bag and given him that instead. I've cut the Burgess pellets out of his feeds so he'll be on SS and hay only for a while, and will be kept a careful eye on for the next 24 hours.

He's also had to put up with having a good groom and his claws clipped. I've not yet dared tell him he's getting no treaties tonight  (although I might try to convince him that a Fibafirst stick is just as good as a nana chip).

And Flo says that she feels your pain - I found a big squished furry poo today and Flo is looking quite untidy and fluffy so she too had a good groom and nail trim. I think the whole street could hear her heart thumping and her teeth chattering at me!

Mega vibes for the rare black lop-eared tiger of the Wood Warren. I love you Theo!   I want to give you some big smooches!

I had exactly same the other week with two of mine (scooby and holly)
I brought some of this years hay home thinking it would be a lovely treat for them...
It upset their tummys and they ended up with tummy ache and had to have meds

I will now do what I do with my horse..... and leave it a few months before i feed it

We think it could be the pineapple juice as when Mike gives Kenzo some when he is having a heavy moult or seems a bit constipated he does cow pats the next day.

I bet he will be ok tomorrow  but I'd still keep an eye on him.

Theo is just fine  except for the trauma of not being given any treaties last night  

I am glad he is OK lopve, Binky has these occasionally and it is usually when it has been hot or he has been to the vet.
