Dougal has turned into a crazy bun
I thought neutering was supposed to calm down your bun? not Dougal, he has gone from a good as gold boy to a pain in the butt the past few weeks .
I think he is just keeping me on my toes.
Since the neuter and getting rid of his swelling in his ears and maybe the fact that his infection is slowly going he is full of energy, which he is anyway but ten fold now. He has turned into a mad bun, he managed even though blocked it off, to get under the wardrobe 6 times yesterday and would not give up on trying and getting under. I spent all morning yesterday and day before constant telling him no back and pulling him out the way and he still went at it. There's also a cardboard box upside down covering a big mains extension the bedroom he was insisting on getting under, he did 3 times and when I put my weight onto it to stop him he resorted to attacking it and trying to put a hole in to climb through .
He had his moments before the neuter but not like this, this morning he was the same but he cannot get under now as it properly blocked off so eventually gave up and he keeps mad darting around the room. He makes me laugh when he does it though, cannot help it and he is a gem otherwise but do you think I am getting pay back from the vets trips, neuter and ear drops etc? , me thinks so .
Oh and when I had my mum around last Sunday she witnessed his rebel teenage behaviour, he decided to spread all the hay near his litter tray in our bedroom which e spends most his time in with me whilst hudad studies and stuff and he pooped all love it on the floor and he even peed which he has never done before so I had to remove all the hay he had made a toilet with and clean it up. When I went to clean it he started stropping, he kicked his ball at e, the small cat toy ball with the bell in it and then picked up his small tube and tried to throw it at me . my mum was wetting her sides and I could not do anything but laugh. It was funny but very norty indeed. He has some great strops, another one he does is flicks his back legs and shakes his body at me and does not like it when I laugh and take the mick.
He would never bite me or anything though as he really is a sweetheart and loves attention etc but he is just being a fully on monkey atm. Netuer = crazy bun.
gonna go chase him now as he wants my attention.
Humum aint well either and constantly tired, he is certainly keeping me fit and even more shattered, he just made me alugh then as he stretched up and peeked at me for attention, best go chase him before he goes all crazy bun on the wallpaper or something, it is like having a child in the house but I wouldnot change him for the world.

He says can he eat that certificate?
LOL Jo, It used to, now he just looks at me as if to say **** off humum and totally ignores me, although he respnds to back better as I taught him that too, yes he does keep me on my toes indeed and that is proabbly why my big toes have ended up with bruises on, they actually are bruised under the toe nails like a bleed, I think maybe Dougal could have caused that, hmmm? . TBH I have no idea what did but monkey lops aint helping me .
It is okay to laugh katie, I do too, cannot hlep it, especially when he threw his ball at me and attempted to throw his tube at me, I love stroppy bad buns too, He is being so good now thoiugh, he is sat on the landing on his brdige ( plank of wood with felt on it and he loves it) was meant to be used as a mouse and keyboard table accross my lap . He is giving me the cutest look ever atm.
he was doing it all for my attention and he knows he gets it, think it is payback for attacking him with drops and getitng him mamed .

It does take a while for the hormones to get out of his system. Up to 8 weeks I think.
