Escapee bunnies!
Yesterday I felt really poorly, I have a rotten bug and really wheezy so Mum offered to sort the buns when she got home. Domino is cleaned out daily, and the girls are done every 2 days as they are outside, but it was the third day because I had already put it off due to feeling poorly.
So, I put them in the grassy run for the day so that they werent inside the hutch, and I got Pebbles from the bottom of the hutch ( a connected run and jelly from the top. When I put them back before Mum got in from work as I was going babysitting, I forgot to shut the bottom door where I got Pebbles.
Mum came home to two bunnies running mad around our new garden (as in new UN-BUNNYPROOFED!!!), in the dark, scoffing the apples that had fell from the tree.
At least Mum got them back okay!

Re: Escapee bunnies!
OMG, so lucky that they didn't do a runner!
Lucky them getting all those apples - and Domino missed out!! Poor Doms. I hope you gave him a bit of apple too.

I'm sure they enjoyed themselves immensely! I'm glad your mom was able to corral them easily. I hope you feel better soon!

I bet they were chuffed to bits
I'm glad you got them back ok, did your Mum have any trouble persuading them to come in?

Re: Escapee bunnies!
She said she just walked outside and went "Oh, Pebbles!" And scooped her up, luckily she didnt notice Mum approaching as Pebbles is very quick! Jelly just sits there and waits to be picked up these days. The garden is huge, its about 70ftlong and its full of bushes and there could be gaps anywhere, I havent had a chance to look yet. When Mum told me I felt sick, I felt so bad! They were out ages too, I left at 4:30 and mum got home at 6:30!

Re: Escapee bunnies!
Good job the apples were there.... sounds like they kept them local and made them too full up to run!
Hope you are ok hunni..... I think there are times when these wascly wabbits are going to take advantage of our weaknesses...
Bet Domino was gutted to have missed out on such a feast!
