Yeeha and Blue

Yeeha was one of Jellys babies. Born on 16th April 2007, she was a mini Jelly right from the start. When she grew up, she was much bigger than Jelly, (but then so is Domino). But she inherited Jellys attitude, and was a fiesty bun. In 2008, Blue was adopted to be her forever friend. He always needed her more than she needed him. Blue had at least 3 homes before finding Yeeha, and he passed away on the 14th January of this year, after losing the use of his back legs. He was thought to be around 11.

But yesterday, Yeeha leapt from Kellys arms and broke her leg. Today, she was let go whilst under GA, after the vet realised the leg was too shattered to try to save. Poor Kelly (family member), has lost both her rabbits in a week.

Binky free Yeeha and Blue, I am so devastated. Blue we could accept, it was his time and he was a very old man. But to lose Yeeha a week later, from such a horrible accident is so hard.

Blue always needed Yeeha more than she needed him, so at least they are together now.

They were both so beautiful. It is so sad that Kelly lost both of them within a week

Oh my, she really was a mini Jelly, wasn't she? Just as pretty and with the same take-no-poop expression

What a very sad week it has been for your friend and you. I'm glad they had such a wonderful home all these years and that Blue finally found his forever home and his wifebun. I'm so sorry they have both gone to the bridge. As you say, Blue always needed her...

She really was, I could tell them apart as Yeeha had slightly longer fur (Peanut had longer fur), and she was bigger than Jelly, but facially they were identical, amazing really when you consider what peanut looked like and the fact he was a lop.

I am just so gutted, I burst into tears when I went outside and gave Jelly a cuddle. Its just so so sad. It was a horrible accident but I am "glad" it happened after Blue was gone and not before, he just couldnt have coped without her if it had happened in a different order. Kelly is so devastated, and my cousins are so sad too.

Blue was cremated, so they have done the same for Yeeha, because the children didnt get a chance t say goodbye - and neither did Kelly, they brought her away from the vets in a lovely box and put flowers, ferns and petals in there with her and all the children said goodbye in turn, which is really sweet.

Im just so gutted it happened like this.

I don't know what to say love, this is dreadful and I wish we could all comfort you in some way.

Won't make any of uz feel any better, but they're together now
