Vibes for Yeeha - U/D She's gone. Post in RB.

Post by SarahJane on Mon Jan 20, 2014 7:49 pm

Yeeha is Jellys daughter and Dominos sister. She is my Aunt (never call her that, as she married my uncle when I was 20, and they are seperated now and shes my friend more than anything! She is the Mum of my little cousins who I always do stuff with etc). Blue, yeehas husbun passed away last week at the grand age of around 10+ as he had many homes before being adopted by Kelly and my cousins to be yeehas husbun. He passed away from old age and Yeeha has been brilliant, and has become friends with the dog and sits with him etc!

But tonight, she jumped from Kellys arms and has broken her leg. She rushed her to the vet straight away as she knew something was up, and its been confirmed that its broken. But they are XRAYing tomorrow, tonight she is having painkillers and being made comfortable.

After losing Blue last week, Kelly is really worried, as am I. I will be devastated if anything happens to Yeeha.

Yeeha has been xrayed, and her leg is shattered. The vet has said it is too difficult t save, and given that its a rear leg it wouldn't be fair to amputate, especially because shes seven years old now. She's been put to sleep. Me and Kelly are devastated.

Ive been in tears since I found out, she was jelly in clone form, she had the same attitude, everything. Kelly is so upset, she feels so guilty and blames herself. She always picks her up with a towell to stop her kicking out, and this one time she didn't ...but I said to her ive never done that, its not like she did something wrong, its not why she fell. She even fell on a welly boot!! She didnt even fall hard, or from a height. Im so devastated, I can't believe its happened. It makes me realise how fragile they are. I remember holding yeeha in my hand, and jelly grooming her and....yeh its wrong she had the babies of course I know that but it just makes this harder. I remember when kelly picked her , she picked kelly! And her son was two at the time and she got in his lap, and he was obsessed with toy story, and didn't speak much, but he would always say "yeeeha!" So it became her name.

She didn't even get to say goodbye, because they let her go under the GA for the x ray, and kelly didnt want her woken up just to go again it wasnt fair. Sad
