Malibu - 1 year old female lionhead - SURREY Malibu2_zps21eeaba2
This is Malibu - a 1 year old female lionhead rabbit who is looking for a home with a male neutered rabbit for company.

Her previous owner has given her to rescue because she kept getting a dirty backside and they didn't have time to clean her. She was booked in to be put down because of this, however we didn't feel she should die so accepted her into rescue.

Since being at the rescue, we have only had to clean her once. She is on a strict diet to help her lose weight and as this weight comes off, she will be able to clean herself properly. New owners must stick to this diet and be willing to check her twice a day to make sure she is clean - if she isn't she will need help cleaning herself.

Malibu is a lovely rabbit - very laid back and easy going. She does sway her head at times and has been checked by our vet who feels she cannot hear very well.

Malibu has been spayed, given the combi vaccination and has been wormed. We ask for a minimum donation of £40 for her.

Located in Old Coulsdon, Surrey.

Omg she is beautiful  Love Love Love

How could you have a bunny pts for having a dirty bottom, this is another reason why people should not take on bunnies unless they
are going to care for them completely and that means cleaning dirty bunny bottoms as well. How sad!

Thank God you have her and I hope she finds the loving and caring home that she needs. Bless her she really is a stunner.  Love  Love

I might have to put her on my Facebook page if that's ok AnnaT.

Mad Mad Mad Mad  Stupid people, you cannot pts an animal bcause it cannot clean its own bottom for the ignorence and stupidity of the owners letting her get over wiehgt in the first place and feeding her ****. Really angers me. She is so sweet too, look at her. It is laziness not cleaning her too, it is not a massive job that takes hours. Even if it did they should do it.

I hope she finds a home soon, not with muppets like that either.

Ditto to everything posted so far. Bunnies get dirty bot at times because illness strikes or they are not properly looked after which I assume is the case here. Bertie got overweight two years ago as Howard had started to give him treats. It was Xmas time and he fed him nuts. Nuts that is I say about ten a day even managed to train him to stand up and begg foe them. When I found out...............
I really got angry and stopped buying any nuts for Howard. Exercise and a bit less food and he is now a decent sized bunny again.
Why would anyone put an animal down after mistreating it??
She most likely had the wrong diet and not enough exercise.
I'm glad that Anna is going to look after her for some time and make sure that the new home is more appropriate.
