Bunnies are vegetarian
They are!? Right, yes unless they are called D'Layla. I just found her sitting on the landing munching Moggies whiskas cat food:scratch:
She looked quite offended when I took it away of her. And I promised she is getting plenty of suitable rabbit food. Crazy girl!

Re: Bunnies are vegetarian
Yes, they're crackers.
I'm vegan but my Pete swore he would die without his breakfast kipper ... one day I found Loll chewing a kipper tail! He had found the wrapped remains before Pete binned them.
Think my vegan diet will keep Henry on the straight and narrow .... no meaty stuff in my house now.

Re: Bunnies are vegetarian
Holly and some of my past buns have eat chicken when they have found it and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. There are no rules where bunnies are concerned it seems.

Re: Bunnies are vegetarian
I think she is just an all eater. Anything goes! A mutated bunny perhaps? I just got back fro shopping and got a special offer at the range. Science selective bag 10kg for £6.99 buy one get one free. So all for D'Layla.
And the cats get evicted. Or at least their food out of reach when bunnies are roaming the house.

Re: Bunnies are vegetarian
I must have weird rabbits! They are horrified by hoomin food. And I'm a vegetarian too
The only naughty thing I can recall either of them eating was when Junior munched into a packet of Foxes Viennese biscuits. This was when he was little, and OH and I still refer to them as "Junior's biscuits" when we do the food shop

Aw, Junior's biscuits! Well, so far he's the only one to show any degree of taste .... fancy bisquits, stylish Junior.

Re: Bunnies are vegetarian
Bunnies have a very sweet tooth or all mine have. I had a box of chocolates for my birthday and Paul had one and absent mindedly put it next to him. Holly was up and pinched a choc out of the box which we had to take from her. I felt awful as she really loves things like choccy.

Re: Bunnies are vegetarian
I can believe it Woodwench hun. It is a shame that they love all these things and they are so bad for them. Worse for them than they are for other creatures like us for example. I once found a half eaten chewy sweet, boy was I worried.

Re: Bunnies are vegetarian
Willow has truly outdone herself on the list of human foods she's stolen in the past, but I'd have to say her top 3 were probably:
1) The ham she snatched from a ham and LETTUCE sandwich I left on my bed.
2) The foamy bananas she stole from a bag that was on my bedroom floor. She was literally producing yellow foam from her mouth when I found her and the offending items.
3) The jam doughnut she stole from a plate which was perfectly nibbled to avoid the jam - she obviously didn't fancy that.
They are unbelievable!

Can't say I blame her, I used to find the jam in doughnuts quite disgusting. I used to love lemon iced doughnuts.

I can well believe it sweets, they are just like us, love all the naughty things. I am surprised she left the jam though, that is what Holly would have made a bee line for.
