Here is one of the moths that are coming out of the bag of Ings hay, if you wish to identify Smile

Thought it was a common rustic at first, they vary tremendously in appearance from area to area and they are on the wing July through September and lay their eggs on grasses (including crops).
Will consult my books. It's certainly very beautiful.

Thank you for the gorgeous piccy love and what a little cutie.  I am afraid I am not good on my moth names, I just love them, but I will have a look on a mothy site and see what I can find out.
