I have never seen moults like it!

Annabelles moult is like nothing I have ever seen!!

I will try and post a pic of her tomorrow - she is avoiding me at the moment as every time she crosses my path Im either brushing her or plucking her, so she eyes me with suspicion and goes in the other direction. lol

I seriously have never seen anything quite as bad..

Daisy and Charlie seem to be moulting normally - but Annie!

Jasper is doing ok for now, but I think its only because I had to cut so much of his matted fur off him 2 months ago. But he's certainly not impressed with the heat at the moment and mummy's refusal to change it!

Poor you (and Annabelle), I know exactly what you're going through. In twenty-five years of keeping rabbits I've never seen anything like Henry's moult this summer. Thank goodness it's almost over, just a fringe left over his derrière! It's been horrendous and it made him really ill. Ingested fur, inhaled fur ... poor boy, you all know what an awful time he had. He's been practically sneeze free for two days now; he was so stuffed up with fur in his nose and I kept finding the little wads of fur he sneezed out. It was awful to hear him so stuffed up.
I sure hope Annabelle "and every other bun" escapes the moult-mare Henry and I suffered.

Lots of loving healing vibes are on their way.  I think I must have been lucky, I have had many bunnies but never experienced any of them suffering during a moult.

We must be behind with the times up here! Not too much happening. I've pulled a few tufts from Junior's bum but that's all.

I'm sure it'll come...

If you can pluck bunny bums come and finish off Henry for me. He has just a small area of raggedy tufts over his scut but he won't let me anywhere near them. I try creeping up when he's asleep or when he's feeding; I try lightening grabs when he's hopping by .... No luck, he's too alert and too fast, all I get are filthy looks

It doesn't work does it love, creeping up?  the minute I pull a small tuft from Holly, no matter how gentle I am, she spins around.

Billy's moult is almost finished, I manage to groom him when he gets up in the morning when he's ready for some massive attention. I have this
rubber finger groomer which just fits on one finger and it is truly brilliant, it's only small but I am able to get loads of fur off him and he doesn't
even realise. He thinks I'm just stroking him. You wouldn't imagine you could get so much off with such a tiddy thing.
It is on a key ring, but I'm afraid to say it is from pets @home. Sorry. I know THAT name doesn't go down well but it is a neat little gadget. and
it works for us. I buy them by the bucket full, they don't last long.

I am glad it works love and that is all that matters, it get a job done which otherwise would be very difficult.  Good for you.

Its still going on.......! just as I think they are starting to calm down another wave seems to start up!

Henry is back to his sleek, handsome self. I worked out his moult went on for two and a half months!

That is long time hun, I am so glad he is better.
