Cooking Apples are a bit too sour for Buns
I rarely give mine apple (except for Nomad and Sarah who'd leave home if a piece of apple was left off the breakfast menu Rolling Eyes )
I only tend to use the sweeter apples such as Gala or Golden Delicious

You could make a nice apple crumble for yourself if you have a load of cooking apples to use up Very Happy

Mmmmmmmmmmm apple crumble and custard..................... :luv:

But they do love apple leaves. Well mine do! We trimmed some apple tree branches last week and they went mad.
