Hi, Im new! Empty Hi, Im new!

Post by Kate7590 Fri Jan 30, 2009 4:40 pm

Hi iv just registered and cant wait to get to know you all!
A little about me- My name is Kate and im 18. I have 3 adult bunnies, Bramble a 5 yr old male Harliquin, Ralph a 10 yr old Netherland dwarf buck & Xander who is about 2 years old and is a blue dutch buck.
I also have a baby bunny, who was bred by a friend of mine and is now living in my room as the mother is very ill and unable to look after them, they are 5 weeks old. Bramble [my harliquin bun] is the dad and my baby is called Harley...because, like his dad, he is Harliquin!!

I also have 2 dogs, Bess a 11 yr old Border Collie and Sophie, an 8 yr old Parson Jack Russell cross.

Last year I bred 6 litters of guinea pigs [from different sows], and being a soft person I kept them all apart from 5 baby boys, who went to live with friends in 5 star homes =]
I have 21 guinea pigs now =]

Im going to try and get the hang of adding pictures and ill show you some of my pets =]

Hi there Kate,

Welcome to HH.

You certainly have a lot on your plate with all those piggies and a tiny baby bun. Will you be getting Bramble snipped now? There are so many little bunnies looking for homes, it seems a shame to deliberately breed more.

I look forward to seeing some pics and some of Parson please. I love Jack Russells. They have such attitude.

Brambles about 6 yrs old so I think it would be a bit risky to nueter him now :S
It wasnt my desision to breed him, but as it goes I guese it was my fault to agree to it, the doe had 7 babies but got very ill and only 2 remain, who im looking after now.
Sorry if iv offended anyone about the breeding situ xx

I'm really sorry, I never meant to be hurtful or judgemental when I asked if Bramble was going to be snipped. Looking back, I probably didn't phrase it very well. Embarassed Embarassed
