Naughty Moonlight
Havent got pics posted of new enclosure yet - I DL'd Jay's link to resize the pics then got a terrible migraine so have been in bed. BUT I am better now so will try to post them tonight!
Anyway the "roof" of the enclosure is partially a big tarp, stretched across the 2 sides. Woke up this morning & checked on rabbits first thing and due to rain the tarp had sunk down and Moonlight much to my horror was dancing around on top of it - one leap away from loose in the garden! I threw on the nearest pair of shoes and ran out there, my feet got soaked as the shoes have holes in them then she jumped back in the enclosure of her own accord and I folded the tarp right back. So at the moment they are roofless. They have shelter from rain in various spots not that they seem to mind the rain. And I am not worried about them being roofless with predators because there arent any. But I am worried they will leap out of the enclosure!!! So I am brainstorming about what to do but right now everything is pretty limited to me as I am home alone with Alex and it is nigh on impossible to get extended work done with him around. I can see them from my living room, kitchen & conservatory easily so I am just watching them like hawks while I think of something!!
Leave it to the part wildies to find a hole in my defences! The lops cant jump to save their lives anyway but Moonlight & Celeste are like kangaroos!

Re: Naughty Moonlight
Naughty! I have some pannel type things that i find invaluable for emergencies such as this - they are just real cheapy ones from a garden centre but so versatile. Can cable tie them together to make a roof or i usually use them to block off gaps where naughty bunsters may think about leaving home through!

Re: Naughty Moonlight
I might get a couple more panels like that the sides are made of to just narrow the roof a little but I am not sure, me, Matthew & Alex are always in the enclosure which I love because we are able to have a closer relationship with the rabbits. So I dont want to make it so difficult to get into.

Re: Naughty Moonlight
she does and she has always been the sweetest natured of my 4 but she has turned into a right old minx. She is working on her 4th burrow - yes 4th - since being in the new enclosure less than 2 weeks. And we havent even filled them all in - SHE HAS!! She is manic as anything and I cant get her for a cuddle whereas she has always been the most reliable! I plan on changing that ASAP as I miss my Moony cuddles!!! She is huge now as well, she is easily much much bigger than the rest!

Re: Naughty Moonlight
Naughtly Moonlight indeed!
Maybe you could use panels on top which could be easily removed when you want to climb in with them?

Re: Naughty Moonlight
