Bertie - 8 month old male rabbit, Caterham.

Bertie was found as a stray and taken into rescue. He is approx. 8 months old and has been neutered.

He is a very friendly and playful lad. The first day I got him he was more than happy cuddling up on the sofa and then hopping around my dining room. If he is in the run or the hutch and I walk past, he hops over to say hello. He is very playful and enjoys chucking egg boxes everywhere. Nothing so far has phased him and he has become good friends with my dog.

When Bertie was being neutered, one of his testicles was retracted and deformed. This has been removed and he is now on Baytril. Once he is off this course of medication he will need no further treatment.

Bertie needs a home with another rabbit for company.

oh he is a gorgeous bunny...reminds me a lot of my Alfie, they could be twins. I hope he finds a lovely new home soon

Thanks for the replies everyone! Bertie really wants to play. All day. Non stop. He is quite the character! Right now he is rolling around his giant choobe, its quite sweet!

Thought I'd do a little update as there has been no intrest in little Bertie. He really is a lovely lad, temperement is perfect! He is so friendly and playful and such a sweet boy!

Sadly the home has fallen through meaning Bertie is still looking for his forever home.

He was paired up here with a beautiful dutch girl and has now gone to live in a huge hutch with his wifey =]
