Rory passed away

Just wanted to let you all know that my little man is no longer with me. He hasnt been great for a while but seemed to be picking up. Anyway we went to the inlaws at the weekend and got a phone call from the neighbour who was looking after my buns to say he had gone.
I am so devastated and cant believe it. I feel so guilty as I wasnt even with him and didnt say goodbye. Lola is just curled in a corner looking so sad but has at last had a bit to eat and drink.
I have been and bought a big pot to put him in today which was so hard to do, I am now trying to keep busy but keep getting myself worked up, I am trying to stay calm as I dont want to go into labour.

aww hun, i'm so sorry for your loss please don't blame yourself in any way, i'm sure Rory will have known how much you loved him and will be having fun at the bridge.

I really dont know. He has been really skinny for ages, vets did a full dental on him and i have been trying to beef him back up by giving him extra food. Me and Jason said just before we went that he seemed a bit chunkier. Neighbour said he was ok on sat night then on sun morning he was just there with Lola by his side. I should have been with him and I didnt get to say bye. I am so gutted.

How sad. I'm so sorry for your sudden loss. It sounds like you were doing all you could, so you cannot blame yourself. He knew he was loved!

Thank you everyone. I am trying to keep busy but then I will do something that will remind me of him and end up breaking down in floods. Jason put him in a pot we bought for him and I am going to go buy a nice rose bush or something. I just cant bare to look at it at the moment knowing my little man is in there. Lola is doing ok, she is eating and drinking and I am trying to fuss her but she hates cuddles and fuss. I would normally lay and cuddle Rory if I am feeling down and he would always give me lots of kisses so I am finding that hard. Had a bit of a snuggle with Mimi though, she isnt keen either but puts up with it more that Lola.
I am hoping that it gets easier as the days go on, I really miss him!
