A Big Hello

My nick name is Critter and I'm from the USA. I live with my husband, 2 dogs, and 2 turtles. I have no rabbits at the moment; I'm here to learn as much as I can.

I plan on fostering guineas and rabbits. It seems like every one forgets there's any thing to adopt from rescues other than cats or dogs, but rabbits and guinea pigs are fast on there heels here. My goal is to glean knowledge, then practice it.

We're trying to get my room (a place specially set aside for my fostering) ready for 2 guineas this weekend, but there aren't any rabbits in the foreseeable future. I'm getting hands on experience at a local small critter rescue, where I work 5 days a week.

I grew up with dogs and cats; we never really had any other kind of animal, although I remember having a very limited exposure to rabbits and guinea pigs when I was growing up. I remember someone bringing there pet rabbit in to show and tell once, and another time I got to play with my cousin's guinea pig briefly. I've always been head over heels about horses, but I have had limited exposure with them also.
