Bigger hutch Empty Bigger hutch

Post by Lola_Lotta Tue Sep 28, 2010 1:46 pm

Hi,

I know I've not posted in ages (sorry).

Anyway, I have Lola and Lotta who are dwarf lops (or supposedly, Lola seems huge).

I feel that now they are 2 1/2 years old and as I said Lola is quite big if a dwarf, that their current hutch is too small for the both of them.

I was looking at:

http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=811&pf_id=8198&source=webgains&siteid=57365

or

http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=811&pf_id=50353

Are they big enough for two 'dwarf' rabbits who spend a lot of time in there ? (see my other post from the imfirmary)

TIA

or what about this, I could get DH to put chicken wire or similar underneath so she can't dig then they will be able to come out everyday and only 'in' at night, but is the sleeping bit big enough for both ?

Hiya, take a look at bunny business (googlesearch it) as they have some 4ft 2 storey hutches and some runs that might just fit in your budget. I think bunny business aution stuff on the well known auction site too so you may get it cheaper.

Thanks for replying.

Thankfully I have talked hubby into letting me buy this one and I'm so excited and know that the girls will love it:

He is gonna put mesh underneath so Lotta can't dig herself out which she does at the moment in the run, lol

Hi

There was quite a few on that page, but the one I think you are looking at is similar to one that I used to use. I kept mine on the patio as I didn't want my guinea pigs digging their way out! (or foxes digging their way in)

Hope they like their new home!
