Hi any ideas on how to stop Johns bowl of water freezing up in this weather?

Im checking it as often as I can. He wont drink from bottle anymore but even ends of those freeze up.

Probably a silly question but just thought Id put it out there! X

Maybe a bottle warmer or a heat pad under the water bowl.

I use two layers of bubble wrap and then put a couple of socks over it. The problem is the metal spout. I can insulate the bottle but sometimes the water freezes in the spout. Someone said you can put a tiny amount of glycerine into the water as it helps the water stay liquid longer, but I am not sure whether this is true or not.

I have a couple of bottles and swop them round too.
