Ruffin Builders Ltd
[b] Has anyone else had this with a house bunny. We purchased a mattress booster thingy it came in a box about 3 foot x 2 foot we left it in the hall for a couple of days and Ruffs played with it jumped on it etc. We left it there for her to play with now its been in the hall for around 6 months she has shaped it there is now a front door opening a back door opening and what can only be described as a window at the side. She goes in and out nicks carrier bags and takes them in and out as bedding if you lift the lid up theres no currants or mess. I want to tidy up before Christmas but havent got the heart to gets rid of it. I was even going to make her a wooden play house. Is this normal behaviour for buns or is there no sutch thing.

How cute! Thats so fab.
Lots of buns like boxes. Sounds like she has made a proper home out of it.
I wouldnt have the heart to get rid of it either.
Lots of nose rubs to Ruffin. Clever girl x x

Don't know if it is normal behaviour but it does sound really sweet.

Re: Ruffin Builders Ltd
My two love their cardboard boxes. Whenever I give them a new one they chew and eat at it until it is "just right", making massive holes and eating out the walls, which usually means it's falling apart and looks completely unsightly. They both have proper fluffy beds but prefer to sleep in their cardboard boxes. They're an excellent toy and keep them entertained for hours!
I'm not sure, however, about the nicking of the carrier bags. Is Ruffin desexed? Maybe she is making a nest?
But the cardboard boxes thing is very normal. My two usually have three going at a time, and I will only throw one of the boxes out when I have a new box to replace it. Maybe if you found another box to replace if Ruffin wouldn't mind so much?
