Ruffin Sulking
[b]Ruffin who wouldnt go over the door step for 3 years earlyer this year as I have told everyone decided that there was an outside world. She only goes to the top of the garden does a bit of unscedualed pruning chils out fot half an hour then comes back in. Our garden is quite big especialy when you have to mow it and the drive goes down the side and strait out onto the main Loxley Road which is national speed limit 60MPH and cars do tend to race on this section usualy at least one fatality a year. I went out early evening to check on Ruffs she had only been out for 5 min and stuff me she was at the bottom of the drive just disapearing onto the grass verge then onto the edge of the road. Think I nearly had a heart attack diddnt want to run down and spook her as she would have probably run out into the road which was busy at that time of nite with people coming back from the Peak District. I managed to jump over the wall further along, and then force her to run back up the drive. She is now grounded for a month so is laid in the corner sulking

Wow. Your heart must have stopped. I think the grounding is well earned, Ruffin. So stop your sulking!

Oh Ruffin
It's a horrible feeling - our Graham got through the slats on the gate once when Humum was here on her own (she would have sworn nobun could get through there) - she had to circle round between her and the road and herd her back up the drive. Needless to say, as soon as Hudad got home he lined the back of the gate with ply.

naughty Ruffin! I can't imagine how heart stopping it must be to see that. So pleased to hear you managed to usher her back safe and sound.
