Boredom breakers?
Whats your rabbits favourite cheap and easy to get/make toys? Nugget is a lone bun, just cant get her bonded, shes usually fine but in this weather and with the poison issue in the garden they are stuck in and it could be a while before I can chance it. The rest have company and play with their toys together but shes very down. Not a big treat eater never chews wooden toys or anything but Want to brighten her mood a bit. Any ideas?

Boxes to destroy. Bruce has a favourite stuffed bear that he likes to lie next to and groom. Other than that, my two entertain each other and don't like toys so much.

hmm, a bear might be cool. Shes alone so might appreciate it and not distructive.
Re: Boredom breakers?
I like to stuff empty toilet roll tubes with hay, Roo loves it, throws it around like a nutter! I have also found boxes to be a big hit...The other day I gave her a whole toilet roll, which she spent a good 20mins destroyin like an andrex puppy! And also, I find in particular, she seems to like corrugated card to dig on! she seems to really like the sound it makes!

Stewie has a bunny that he grooms
It's not just toys/boxes etc. that can break boredom, how they are fed can too. Wild buns hop around, selectively eating, and this takes up to 70% of their day, hence pet buns can suffer proper boredom, esp. singletons.
I get all Stewie's hay and veg and break it up into little bits and spread it all around the flat. Takes him 20-30 mins to find and eat it all. Sometimes I use treat balls, the veg ones are good cos the tighter you pack them (I bulk them out with grass and blackberry leaves) the longer it takes to eat the stuff. He can take half and hour over one of those. He only gets his pellets in a treat ball. He gets a willow branch every other day and that takes hours to completely demolish!
Clicker training is a really good boredom reliever too, and keeps their mind occupied.

^^ Sure I'm gonna be making a series of clicker training vids with Stuart soon, I never got chance to finish the project we started with Bertie, but I hope to get these done. Stu's a bit unsure of the clicker at the mo, he doesn't like the sound, but he'll get into it soon!

Hazel likes to toss around plastic clothes pegs! Toilet rolls snipped many times at the edge at both ends so it fans out are favourites too. An old towel to dig into and sprinkling pellets around hutch and run keeps them busy. Cardborad boxes to hide in and Rosie like to play with the kids croc shoes!! strange bunny!

I have accidentally discovered an excellent toy for my two - I left a mini dictionary of mine from school within their grip, they have completely destroyed it, had a good nimble of a lot of the pages and pulled each page out one by one They loved it!
