New toy idea - Egg box

Put some herbs in this, he spent 20 mins trying to get it open and finally succeded Clicky -

Great idea. I've got an egg box as I save them for two friends who keep chickens. I am sure they won't miss this one though. George and Gemma would just eat the box - they wouldn't bother trying to open it. They seem to love chewing cardboard. I just hope they don't swallow it. Herbs get nommed so quickly it's a brilliant idea to make them work for them.

Thanks Jay. I am worried George and Gemma are bored now they can't go out to play. They seem to ignore most toys but I now have some ideas I think will work. Pippa (kitten) chases them around sometimes so they do get a little exercise that way. They hide from her when they get fed-up.

This is brilliant. Just showed Matt and he said there would be no point in doing it with daisy....he'd be like - cant be bothered with that.....some unwrapped herbs will be along shortly! ha ha

I think its a great idea....would be interesting to see if he got quicker at opening it the more times he tries?????

Great idea! I might try it out with my two and see how we go. Poor Stewie you're tormenting him by locking the herbs away!

It's a great idea, but they catch on too quick Trip and Scarlett used to spend ages throwing them around and stuff, now its opened in about two minutes if I give them one

Genius! Gonna give this ine a go! I have had Ruby for a little over two weeks and have already discovered that she seems to have far more interest boxes and cardboard tubes, she destroys shop bought toys in minutes
