Garden Sheds For Hutches
[b] Just trying to find out if there are many people using garden sheds for bun hutches and if there are any pitfalls to watch out for

Re: Garden Sheds For Hutches
I know a few of our hoppers have done this. Most attach a run to it.
I think if I were to have outdoor buns it is the way I would go. Plenty of space for the buns and easy to get into to clean out.
Its a good idea to pop in there somewhere they can snuggle if needed (a upside down box of hay or something similar).
Not having actually done it I dont know what the pitfalls might be but I know that a few Hoppers Have. I always thought it sounded like a brilliant idea.

[b]Hi yes I am going to deck it all out with sleeping bits toys etc and it will have access to a large section of secure garden. Only trouble is one of the buns is female so sure it will all have to be rearanged

Is this one of your rescue buns or the one from the lady on the phone?
Do you know what - it sounds like bunny heaven!

Re: Garden Sheds For Hutches
I don't have one, but it's my plan to get a garden shed if my mother eventually kicks the bunnies out of the house, which she has now been threatening to for about 2 years. I keep on managing to avoid it, but i'm not sure I'm going to be able to survive for long.
Garden sheds are much bigger than most hutches and I think it would be great to be able to sit in the shed with the bunnies to spend some quality time together.

You can also make more levels for them. It must be easier to clean out than a hutch too.
Good luck!!
