Re: The Trio and their playground
Im not sure, I give mine pear, apple and willow (although this time they just have pear). and it seems to keep their teeth in good shape
Remember the packaging wont say "treated with chemicals" , it will say nothing. So go for one that says "not treated with any chemicals".
I dont think it matters on the compost, you can just use dirt from the garden if you have some thats what I used to do, until I used it all!

Stewie will eat tons of willow and Blackberry twigs, as well as the leaves, loves them
Re: The Trio and their playground
Never given them blackberry twigs, will have to get some. They have a pear stick in their shed at the moment and all three are attacking it would rather they did that than just lay down all day!

You need thick gloves and scissors Seriously they are so spikey that i wasn't sure if he should have them, but Anne told me to do it, so I did and he loves them, really good source of fibre! I cut off practically whole branches and we woofs the lot
Re: The Trio and their playground
It really surprises me how they can eat thorny sticks and nettles!
Thanks for the help SJ, I hope little madam appreciates it, she loves a good sort out if things have been moved or changed so I'm sure I'll find out!
