Allergies? Empty Allergies?

Just as a matter of interest have any of you ever heard of buns having allergies?

The reason I ask is that daisy's reluctance to eat started around the same time as he was introduced to plantain.

So I thought Id ask?????

Without my realising it at first, I think Roo has an allergy to those airfreshener thingys...the ones that are a little glass jar, with scented oil and sticks poking out of them, think they may call them vapourisers confused I got Roo on xmas eve, and was given one of these vapourisers by my crazy old eccentric aunt jaci as a xmas present...I thought, i'll give it a go see what its like...after about 2 wks, I couldnt stand it any more...to me it smelt a bit like cat pee Suspect Anyways, when I first got Roo, she seemed to be a bit of a snuffle bun, she would sneeze occasionally...never anything dramatic but it was enough for me to consult Charlotte, we thought it may have been the dry air, as I have storage heaters in my flat (this has affected some of my more sensitive rats in the past) So I tried puttin a bowl of water on the heater so it would evapourate into the air...didnt help much...Didnt even occur to me it may be this airfreshener, but truthfully, the day I got rid of it she never sneezed again! So that must have been it!

Some rabbits have dust & hay allergies but I can't think of any others that I have heard of.

Yes they do one sec, i'll look in me rabbit book.

Edit: My book says.
Signs: The commonest symptom is a clear discharge from both eyes, and the rabbit may sneeze occasionally. The rabbit remains well in itself. More sever cases may show skin crusting and sorness around the ears and nose and even inside the legs and on the abdomen.

Cause: Dusty hay or bedding are common causes. House rabbits may be exposed to other potential allergens such as cigerette smoke, furniture polish and other household aerosols.

Could it be more of an intolerance as opposed to an allergy? Poor boy x
