This is our beautiful Cagney, she is 6-7 years old and has never been speyed and can't be because she has mammory tumours and Paula thinks it's too much of a risk to give her a GA so she lives alone, but every Spring she pretends she's got to build a nest

And that's very tiring work

Love her! I remember Mack getting confused after his 'chop op' and starting to build a nest, was most bizarre!

Ha Ha!!! Could someone tell my bun Lily that there is no need to pluck herself and her hubby as neither of them have any tackle and therefore will not be having kits Rolling Eyes She does make a sterling nest twice a year though!

Love the 'dead' rabbit photo. They really do look very alarmingly deceased when they are asleep. Laughing

Aww how sweet, such tiring work being a pretend mummy Laughing

I had to get my mum in the shed today when Jeeves played the dead bunny pose just to show her so she wouldn't have a fit if she saw them doing it, her face was priceless.
He seemed to tire himself out from grooming today so much that he just flopped mid-groom and the carried on again on the floor. Weirdo. Rolling Eyes

My Husband has been caught out a few times by my bunnies 'playing dead' and has a panic attack each time because he hates having to break the news to me when one of them has passed away in their sleep.

Aha ha, so cute! I had the shock of my life the first time I saw mine doing that - amazing how they can look completely corpse like then within seconds be binky'ing around the place like they are on speed Very Happy
