Gizzy Empty Gizzy

Post by SarahJane Tue Apr 26, 2011 10:33 pm

My best friends mums dog was killed today Sad

We were in wetherspoons chatting and her phone went off and she looked distraught, and it had just happened. Gizzy a little papilon dog was being walked with Poppy a collie, and as they walked past a fence an Alsation broke through the fence and pretty much ripped his throat out. They made it to the vets but he died, he had lost so much blood.

My friends mum and partner and obviously my friend too are so upset. Poppy tried to defend Gizzy but couldnt Sad

Its so sad. I have tears in my eyes, its just shocking.

Rest in peace little Gizzy/Gismo. I will never forget when you jumped on me after a night out and then did a poo right in front of me! You were a cheeky little monkey, it shouldnt have ended like this.

Now my dog but i just felt like I had to post.

Oh that is awfull, a similar thing happened a while ago with my friends cat, a dog off of its lead got into their garden, the kids were absolutley scared to death and tried to protect the kitty chico, thank goodnesss the children werent hurt but Chico wasnt so lucky - the owner of the dog was up the road a bit (as seen by a neighbour) and he walked off, his vicous dog then followed. Awfull awfull awfull. Hope your friend is as 'ok' as she can be Hugs

That's just awful Sad

I know it won't change anything for those who have lost the poor pooch, but was any action taken against the dog who did this? Or their owner?
