Rabbit Wee Stains in Patio
Argh.. Hw can I get rid. I have no grass as we just have a back yard. So the hutch and run is straight on to patio slabs... And where the bunnies wee, it is all stained white now, when the slabs are a terracotta type colour. I have scrubbed with warm water and washing up liquid and with white vinegar and warm water, and I can't shift it. What can I do. It is really starting to annoy me When they are out in the yard, they wee all over the yard too and I just can't get it off. Any ideas my fellow bunny mad people!?

Is it the white stains? Thats a difficult one using something natural but that will work. Have you tried leaving the vinegar down till it dries and then scrubbing it off?

Re: Rabbit Wee Stains in Patio
I've just googled and found this:
http://www.petweeaway.com/
"Pet wee AWAY simply removes smells and stains caused by urine. This biological stain and odour eradicator is perfect for use on carpets, upholstery, fabrics and concrete, absorbent flooring and tile grout."
Any good? It claims to be "non-toxic, biodegradable and will not harm the environment."
Hmm, methinks I could do with some for when I finally get my two moved this weekend

Re: Rabbit Wee Stains in Patio
You need something that will dissolve calcium because thats the main deposit in the white stains.
Re: Rabbit Wee Stains in Patio
Sorry Sooz, thanks for moving this
Good luck with getting them moved this weekend!

I know this sounds mad, but have you tried cheap diet cola? It's really good at dissolving the limescale off my loo, and if it's calcium deposits that make the wee white like Sooz says it might be worth a try?

^ I had heard that coke was good for limescale.
Would Jays fluid work? Says you can use it in hutches and things but just have to let it dry before putting rabbit back in so I would've thought as long as it dried would be ok?
