Helen! Look what you made me do!!

well, the baked things looked AWFUL!! the pink was okay but the shade of purple looked gross!! i wiped my icing fingers on this reject!



so i made icing and at least made them look edible!



I'm going to try your recipe to see if they look prettier.

oh, thank-you Miss Mod!

the icing for this was 375g icing sugar
225g unsalted butter, room temperature

cream it with an electric whisk until smooth and lovely! you can add a little vanilla if you want aswell but i didn't want to.

i divided the icing in two and coloured one oink and one yellow, slapped them against each other in an icing bag and hoped for the best! first time i've done two tone icing.

that amount says it ices 1.5 dozen but i reckon it's more than that.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH ALL YOUR CAKES!? I want to make more but will never eat all of those. Maybe I'll send Mr B to work with some tomorrow (he's off today)

i send ryan to work with the cakes or i make my brother take them to my mums!

i scraped my icing fingers on the first one, it was the reject! i always have a "reject" that i stab to test it's cooked. it's the one that gets the taste test. i had a nibble, twas reet nice!

tasteeeee. I was tempted to cut opne some of my bright cakes, the one that looks plain pink is actually horizontally striped throughout but I didn't want to disembowel it to prove my point

My favorite icing is cream cheese, soooo good I could just eat it plain, no need for cupcakes!!

cream cheeese.... nom nom nom! i could eat a whole tube of that or whatever they come in!

i'm having purple issues! it never colours anything correctly and it's a "proffessional" type too! i'm never using it again!
