Wave when you are bonding bunnies how long do you normally take them out in the car for first?

I didn't take them in the car as I had nobody to watch them to break up a fight if one occured, I just shoved them in a carrier and carried them round my house for a bit then sat and watched tv with them on my knee and jiggled them up and down, did that for about an hour as they were second bonds and I wanted to try and scare them into being well behaved!!!! Do the bonding buns never fight when they are in a carrier?

Just wondered as it's a bit hard to get at them if they do.
My female has a habbit of pulling face fur and nipping paws Rolling Eyes she'd still be able to do this in a carrier Hmmm

I carry them about aka babybunnies style too Laughing usually for at least an hour to start with before transfereing into an indoor cage. If they get frisky I take them for another walk or jiggle the carrier a bit. I also do 'time outs' for 15 minutes if they get fiesty.

In my experience I have only had two pairs fight in a carrier and both happened right when we put the rabbits in. Generally the lack of space and disorientation just mkes them huddle together for safety.

If your going for a car ride always take someone with you incase of a fight though.

Hi

Thanks for the reassurance about putting bonding buns in a carrier, I was worried about fighting but tried it last night and everything went well.
The female was a bit stressed straight afterwards but soon calmed down, it's something for me to work with.
