Does anyone have a grumpy bun who is getting worse??
Ron has always been grumpy when you touch his dishes or cuddly toy in his house, but now he is getting worse.
I can't even touch anything outside of his house, this morning i went to pick a piece of hay up on the carpet in the livingroom in front of his pad and he came lunging out growling.
He has never bitten me, he went to the other day but stopped as soon as his teeth touched me.
He is such a loving soppy bun, and you can touch him in his house no probs but touch anything of his GRRRRR!
I won't be able to sit down soon without him growling as the settee will be his!!
I have to give him something to amuse him while i clean him out.
He's taking over. If you don't hear from me again its because i won't be able to log on with him growling and lunging at me. LOL scratch

Hmm, whenever Luna gets grumpy it means something is up....so if he's neutered and it's not hormones, it could be worth taking a closer look at him or maybe take him for a check up. Or is there any changes you've made in ur house recently? Anything different that could have disturbed him? I say this because when I first got Thistle, Luna was grumpy anyway but the change of having him around in the same room etc. made her super grumpy to the point that it sounds like you are at. Also sometimes they get a bit stroppy when I'm not at home as much as normal.

Yes he is neutered, he has always been a grumpy guts, it just seems that he is moving the barrier more every day, he see's every thing as his property. And gettin worse with it.
If you leave something on the floor in the bedroom he takes it back in his house (socks, hankies etc) try to get them off him, no chance.
You can fuss him, rub his nose til it falls off and pull his ears while he's in his house no probs but touch owt thats his GGGGRRRRR!
He is a single bun after Lilly attcked when she became unwell.
I would love to get him a girly bun but been advised to wait by 2 rescue centres, with Lilly been next to him, but will he be a grumpy with a girly bun when Lil goes to heaven??

He sounds very very territorial...my toys, my home, my hay don't touch it!!

Our nethie Chudleigh Flint is like that and when he's in his indoor hutch if you go to put his dish of pellets in he will lunge at you growling Laughing

I wonder if it has to do with becoming single bunny. Was he the dominant or he was dominated? That is a major change in his life...

He was only with Lil a week, the stress of her losing her old husbun, she loved him that much she groomed him alnight when he died(we left them together so she could say goodbye) til he was sore and bleeding, it was heart breaking, when we tried to cover his face to stop her she ragged it off, then she got EC and severe headtilt then she attacked Ron, with her brain being confuzzled.
Ron loved her to bits tho, he was in heaven.
He has been alone nearly 2 years, well when i say alone- he is my little shadow, he's with me all the time, thats what upsets me when he loves me that much then growls at me!
