I think Chance just outlived all our expectations, I am just so pleased that he went quietly and in the most relaxed way possible. It's nice to know that it was just 'their time' and the onus isn't on you to make a decision.
Binky Free old man, I'm sure your all spritely again at RB. xxx

I bet he is and being smothered by Princess! Thank you so much for sending him my way Sooz. I still remember him in Mac D's car park on Alex's knee with his order of carrots. We were parked next to all the boy racers and there we were with a bunny and a car covered in stickers that said "I love rabbits!" !
I am so so relieved that I did not have to make an awful decision this time. He was old and tired and just went as he should have done. You just can't ask for anymore than that.
Re: RIP Old Man Chance.
I remember getting that text well. I can picture it in my mind when I think of him, even though I wasn't there. It's a great memory.
Re: RIP Old Man Chance.
I'm so sorry that you lost your old man. I've not been on here long but I can see he was much loved and quite the character!
As the owner of an old lady, I can totally understand your relief (for want of a better word) that he just slipped away with no intervention.
Dignified sums it up well.
