My Bun(s) are special because...

Stewie is special because he has this affinity with people that just a bit weird, but very lovely. He will always come over and sit with people. and if someone is feeling blue, or having a bad time, he'll lick ther hand, or face, or trousers, or whatever he can get his tongue on, and just sit quietly next to them, letting them stroke him if they want The result is that people feel a lot better being around him, and as with people who make you feel better, he's a little gift

Jelly is special because she has such a unique personality, she has the biggest personality of the group; she is nippy, naughty, scratches, but can also groom you, ask for nose rubs and be so friendly. She is genuinely a bun you have to understand and I love that. She is also special because she is my first rabbit

Domino is special because he is a fat little pudding No thats a bit mean..erm... he only loves his mummy! When he went to stay with Hetty he just sulked the entire time and wouldnt even eat infront of her, and if she went to see him he would turn the other way! So ungrateful! but its quite sweet really! He is also special because I can see Peanut in him every day.

Pebbles is special because she is just the prettiest rabbit I have ever known, her photos do not do her justice, she is just stunning. And she gets prettier the older the gets, if only we were all so lucky! She is a timid little thing but she does love a cuddle once you get her, and if you rub under her eyes her little feet quivver and stretch out its adorable! She is also my only rescue girly so that adds to her specialness!

Willow is very special, she is special because she made me fall in love with rabbits, and because she used to hide in my jumper when she was a baby. She is special because she has mental health problems, wants all the attention, and can leap higher than a kangeroo. She has dainty feet and is delicate and pretty, but will amputate you arm for you if the mood takes her. Willow is specail because she adores Felix, and keeps her face sparkly clean

Felix is special because she is a hot water bottle for Willow, and she tolerates alot! Felix was our baby boy, that didnt have a winkle, so I still see her as masculine, she has that 'cant be bothered' air about her. She flops anywhere, has no fear, I have to hoover around her. Felix adores Yasi, and Yasi regards Felix as her rabbit, Yasi talks to Felix and Felix is affectionate with Yasi, but no one else - though she doesnt mind being stroked and fussed over. I have never seen Felix 'chin' anything but Yasmin.

Rory is special because he is the result of me feeling more confident in rabbit care, he was in a pickle, and I have morphed him from a dirty garlic smelling ball of knots that would shake with fear, but lick you anyway - to the casanova he is today. Rory is all about the love, he is the letchy waiter in your local resturant, he is the guy who trys to be subtle but is all over you like a rash, he is the mr tickle of the rabbit world, he will drench you in spit - and if you dont stroke him enough he will push your hand untill you do - he wants affection people, no, he DEMANDS affection - he must have it, he needs it like oxygen. He has a certain swagger about him, a cocky confidence that kind of goes with his short frame, he is special, and he knows it! Everything belongs to him, he will share his affections, but not material goods, if you touch it he will look at you as if to say 'thanks a bunch, now I will have to chin it for half an hr'.

Thumper is special because she has this incredible personality that I would never have expected from a rabbit before she found me.

She never fails to make me smile, or laugh, or make me think "what on earth is she doing now".

She makes my day so much brighter. I love getting her up in the morning and putting her to bed at night. She's always there for cuddles (whilst grooming my clothes!) or to dance round my feet. I love that she looks at me when I talk to her, like she is proper listening to me.

I love that she's so vocal, and lets me know EXACTLY what she wants. Demanding little madam

And finally, I love the fact that she is ALWAYS happy to see my, even if I have not long given her her dreaded bum bath, she forgives quickly and still follows me around

Daisy is special because of EVERYTHING about Daisy.

I adore his cheeky looks, his independence, the way he makes his own decisions and loves his mummy.

He has the most enormous personality inside the smallest little fluffy shell - and I'm sure that he was meant to be ten feet tall.

I love that he is always naughty and keeps us on out toes.

He fills this house up to bursting and I adore him.

He also started what I know will be a lifelong love of our hoppy friends.

Cid is special because I see him become more and more confident everyday - he even came over to nudge me the other day and usually he runs and hides. He's such a brave special little man.

Daisy is special because she loves EVERYTHING! Everything in sight gets groomed, and she is such a Daddys girl.

Freya is special because she is just so ridiculously laid back, she isn't bothered about anything (Apart from food, maybe) and she's the only bun that doesn't jump if you touch her back.

Lani is special because she is so soft and beautiful, he specly tri-colour fur is just amazing, and she is such a Mammy's girl.

Kuja is special because of his crazy hair and his crazy chin-rubbing, Ive never seen anything like it, if only there were chin-rubbing marathons.... Even I am not spared from the deadly chin.

Beatrix is special because she is the master escape artist, she escaped again last night at 5am, bye bye my sleep. Ive got mesh and clips everywhere but still she finds the gap...

Vivi is special because he is such a grumpy man, even when he binkies he feels the need to stomp first. He even attacks poor Bea over food so I haveta seperate him off. But at the same time, sometimes, you get this glimpse of 'soft baby Vivi' like he used to, just simple things like a nudge for nose rubs, or snuggling up to Bea like no other pair I have...



Loving everyone's responses, it just goes to show how unique, intelligent and (generally) affectionate bunnies are. Just how wonderful they are to have has pets, and part of the family.

My bunnies are special to me, because they got me through dark times, and for that, i owe them everything. I love them for 100s of different reasons, but that just sums it up.

Lily is special because she taught me so many things, how animal testing still happened, how I can live without eating meat!
She taught me to love unconditionally again and that life is oh so precious.

She also taught me that veggies are tasty and that bunnies are great animals.
Tyson has taught me to expect the unexpected as he can go from moody to loving in seconds!
Ella has taught me that its okay to be scared and Leila that its okay to be moody!!

My bun, Lil Loll is special because he is kinda independent, the strong silent type but he has a great love of life and having fun. He is reserved with women (he didn't care for me to begin with) but adores most men. He's clever, laid back and handome! But I guess what makes him really special is that he's mine and I'm his and we LOVE EACH OTHER!

My buns are special to me as besides the fact that I deeply love each and everyone of them they keep me going and give me something to carry on for. They are my friends and ear's sometimes when I feel sad and want to have a little moan, they keep me smiling, laughing and never fail to amaze me and of course they make me cry sometimes when they are ill or we lose one.
They are my Family, my little group of fur babies and I could never ever live without them, they are just so precious
