Vibes please for Kenzo/ UD Much Better :-)

Kenzo has been very quiet tonight and although he ate his breakfast this morning he has not made any effort to eat his greens tonight or his treat that they all get before the light's go out and they are settled for the night.
Mike took him out and brought him into the kitchen and Kenzo's tummy is a little bit hard so Mike has given him some medication and some water and we are on 'bun watch' tonight. If he is no better by morning I think it's the vet's for him. He has been a very sad boy since he lost the love of his life and we are doing everything to try and make him happy but he just seem's so depressed.

Can we have some Vibes please for our sad poorly boy

I've just checked him now as I'm letting Mike have a well earned lie in as he was on bun watch through the night. Kenzo has still not eaten his tea from last night or his treat yet he was washing when I went in which to us is always a good sign.
If he doesn't eat his breakfast the Critical Care will be coming out as he can't afford to lose weight

After spending the night with my friend recently, i realised how draining and frustrating night time bunny watch is! Hope he picks up quickly xxx

You could try Jay's trick of grating some pellets over the hay to entice him.

Grating pellets over the hay...that's a great idea I will remember that one

He hasn't eaten his breakfast but Mike picked him some fresh dandelion leaves and he ate them and we saw him eating some pellets but he just look's so very depressed he's had some more medication.
I shall sprinkle some dried plantain and mixed garden herbs over his hay tonight.

I hope he is better tomorrow.

Well we only got Jess (Kenzo's intended) last week and she is a cruelty case so we are giving her time to settle in and get to trust us, she has not long been spayed then a 2 hour journey from Manchester to here so we are giving her a week or so to settle and just really be a bunny, she is out in a play pen all day and when I go in at tea time to put her in her hutch she get's so excited she just loves her hutch. From what I know she was in a very tiny hutch with no food or water and she was so badly matted her body was matted to her back legs so she couldn't walk properly and of course now she has a large hutch, loads of hay and a dish of pellets and greens and a bunny water bottle and a dish of water and I put her a log tunnel in her bed yesterday and she absolutely loves it, she has just started to take notice of her toys and play with them.
Kenzo has met her as we put them in the run's in the garden next to each other and he looked at her and seemed interested I just hope they will bond ok as they would make a fantastic couple both being hairy lionheads

What a happy sight greeted us this morning Kenzo's empty greens dish and he is in the play pen this morning and I was passing he was doing 'BINKIES' need I say more
Think he may have had a tummy ache and now he's feeling much better. His tummy is also nice and soft again.

I'm so relieved

I can't wait to hear how he gets on with Jess when the time comes. It sounds like she has had a very hard time so I hope she and Kenzo are very happy together!
