She has small poo again and isn't eating. The OH took her to the vets and they said she may need *another*!! dental, she had one last month! They said her tongue was swollen. They gave her some injections or other, and said to put her onto a pellet diet rather than a museli one, to stop selective feeding, which she never did before. But I suppose if it hurts to eatshe's just gonna pick the yummy stuff and leave the rest. However, she won't eat the pellets at all... The OH is going to have to take her back. She's losing weight but no need to worry about it yet as she was pretty chunky before, she's a long way off a Daisy-style rack of ribs.

These midgetty bunnies with thier midgetty jaws, eh. I just hope she gets sorted.

do you have a dentla booked in hun. Daisy wont eat his nuggs when he is ready for a dental either.

sometimes he goes 12 weeks (max) but the last couple of times he has only gone 4. Hissy

The key I find is to feed him less nugs and more hay....the more hay he eats the longer we go between dentals.

I hope she is okay hun. Sending lots of love for her. x x

I don't, but I will have to get one done. Her and Vivi get plenty of hay but its hard to say if she's eating plenty of it, or if Vivi eats most of it. She definately dives in and eats it when I dish it out, so I assume her hay-eating is fine.

Bea always comes to see me though when I go into the bunny room so unless Im dishing it out and its new and shiny she's more interested in me (and nose-rubs) than food, so its hard to tell which in the pair is eating the hay.

I always make sure all the buns have hay, I feed them thier mix in the mornings then hay before bed, and veggies whenever I can be bothered to chop them and dish them out, usually at my own dinnertime. Bea is eating her veg allright, the buns don't get those everyday though, usually every 2 depending on what Ive bought and its dates etc. Maybe I should dish more veg out for Bea until her dental to keep her eating?

Yea i think you need to keep her belly turning over and stop her going into stasis, so she is nice and strong for the GA. So long as she is eating something. I know that once Daisys teeth start digging into his tongue his eating goes down rapidly.

Yea its so bliimin hard to tell how much hay they are eating isnt it, cos its hard to tell how much is gone and i only have one to worry about!

Good luck honey. sending cuddles for Bea and hugs for you

Appointment booked tomorrow OH is taking her, she's eating but slooowly. Considering her and Vivi have to be split at feed times it isn't ideal, Vivi finishes well before her then makes much noise to let us know he's done!

When mine have been off their food or had stuff done in their mouths, I soaked the pellets so they were soft and easier to eat. That might help until you can get her sorted out.
