Individual traits - please share
I'm fascinated by the little things that buns do, that are their individual traits, so hope you can share some.
I recently discovered a coupple of tings that have made life sooo much easier.
Stewie B hates being handled, and grooming is a real problem as I have to gently, but forcefully restrict him to brush and comb, and do checks etc.
I discovered, by complete accident, that if I hold a willow stick in one hand, I can easily grrom him with the other whilst he chomps away - doesn't flinch - I'm so relieved! I also found out that if I put his hay and grass in a cardboard box, rather than in his food bowl, he'll jump into the box and eat the lot - YAY!

That little face peeking out!!
My Penelope doesnt like being picked up if I need to put her into her hutch, so what happens is - she gets inside her play tunnel, and I pick the tunnel up, then she exits the tunnel once inside hutch!! My late Roberta used to have a way of sitting on my bosom, something that started when she was a tiny baby, but still carried on when she was a much larger, grown-up lady bun! Thankfully she grew out of the sitting on my shoulder then peeing down my back phase...

When my Clawed lived out doors she used to love our hutch cleaning sessions. Her hutch was a big one, L shaped and a total of 16ft long by 3ft wide by 3ft high. Cleaning was a big job, raking litter into a wheelbarrow and when the barrow was full Clawed loved to ride along to the bonfire heap.... it was a work of art keeping her out of the barrow till I had a load! I used to give her a dustbin lid to play with!

Daisy will only come into the front room in the evenings provided we pave his way by putting a sheet on the floor.
He is absolutely fine to come in during the day - not problem at all, and it makes no difference if it is daylight or dark - if its after 6pm the royal carpet is required!

I've only ever had the one bun, so not sure what's bunny-isms and what's thumper-isms but it never fails to make me smile when she let's me know it's bed time. At my feet, grunting and causing a fuss! In our old house, she even used to walk round and round her cage.
She also always stands up when I enter a room, like a polite olden days gentleman. And it's not that she's uncomfortable or feels threatened because she's flopped right out most if the time.
