It has taken a while to write his RB thread as I just didn't want to face it I guess..
Sandy didn't come from the best of places and was "rescued" by a "friend" who said her neighbour didn't care for him and he was always in the street. This "friend" then kept him in a 2ft x 1ft prison. I kept on at her about how she could not keep a rabbit like that. Eventually as was often her way with animals, she asked if I would take him. I did so gladly and bonded him with my doe Lily.

Sandy was a big cuddly bun who was very soft and gentle and devoted to his wife. He was very well behaved and only really annoyed Lily with his constant demands for "husbun and wife" time Wink I think I can honestly say that Sandy was one of the gentlest bunnies I have ever had.

To lose him in such an unexpected way was hard to take but I know that he lived to a good age and had a good 5 years here with me, living as a bunny should. That is at least some consolation.
