Annie and Nutmeg
They are (sort of) all rescue piggies. I was looking for a friend for a pig I had and when I went to one of the local rescues they were inundated with piggies rabbits and degu all taken from one establishment. They had 50 guinea pigs there and so I ended up taking 3 who were together in a pen -Nutmeg, Treacle and Cinnamon. After being home for a few weeks it became clear that they were all pregnant. They were all in poor condition having been living in one big group - nutmeg's ears were very chewed - so luckily the only had 4 babies between then. 2 boys 2 girls. The boys went back to the rescue for rehoming as I did not really want a mixed sex set up. So I kept the mums and Annie and Clarabel who are Cinnamon's daughters. Unfortunately Cinnamon died after a few months due to having a massive growth in her lungs - I put it down to the ammonia smell from living in such an environment in her early life. The piggies look forward to their Tuesday morning hutch scrub down as the rabbits are banished from the garden and they get to run free.

Re: piggies
The runaround tube and door arrived today and have been duly fitted. Piggies have been trotting up and down the tube all afternoon - very funny

Re: piggies
They are from runaround. This 6inch tube is big enough for rabbits. The do it in 4ft or 8ft. They also do a 'den pipe' which is 10inches in diameter and 3ft long. (the door in the pic is 4.5inches so the tube looks smaller)
