wonky ears..
I was just wondering if there could be any neurological reason why a rabbit may suddenly start to have helicopter ears...Luna never really has before....always uppy...and I remember posting a few months back about it..then it stopped, but it's started again. It wouldn't worry me, only today she has been doing some really strange things...normally when I hold a pellet up she will follow it and grab it, but unless it's right by her face she won't take it, she sort of reverses and backs away from me. Also...she has been patting the floor a lot it's really, really odd, like around the edge of their crate..and then repeatedly chewing the bars for AGES...
It might be nothing...but I just have a bad feeling that it could all be connected...it's very uncharacteristic behaviour. She made a nest this morning, but she does that every few weeks atm. I'm just worried there may be something wrong with her brain . Poor Thistle, nearly every time he goes near her, she grunts at him. If anyone has any ideas as to what could be going on that would be great, thank you.

Re: wonky ears..
I would suspect either ear infection or teeth issues. It sounds as if she is just a bit uncomfortable.

I would take her to the vet hun just for a check over.
If there is something at least then it might catch it early.
Perhaps ask for a course of panacur just in case.

Re: wonky ears..
thanks guys. I did think ear infection before, but cause she never shakes her head...and it doesn't look sore I thought she was fine. She's eating absoloutly fine and drinking fine...it's jst like the odd behaviour...I wish I had filmed some of it cause it's really hard to explain what she was doing. I'll have a proper check over her myself later when I get in from work, just to see if there was anything I missed. I'm hoping maybe she's just being a bit quirky lol
