An eventful evening

Poor Rosie. She stuck her nose through the mesh of the run last night and one of the other rabbits managed to get an nip in at her. She split her bottom lip right open It was gruesome

The humans got her straight to the vet and she spent the night in as she needed a couple of stitches so the humans asked for her to be spayed as well so she only had to go through the GA once.

They picked her up earlier and apparently she looks surprisingly bright, although a bit sorry for herself and her poor bunny mowf looks a bit sore. She is eating ok at the moment and they have Recovery food in stock in case she struggles.

I'm not allowed in, just in case she wants to chase around, but I have had a look at her through the window and I am just glad she is back home with us even if she is sore at both ends.

The humans are kicking themselves a bit - our run is separated off so the others can get used to us, but they didn't realise that one of them would be able to get such a nip in through the mesh. I think they were just a bit unlucky that Rosie is so nosy and that she got caught on the lip, and I know the humans will make sure it can never ever happen again.

I'm off to make her a get-well-soon card...

Poor Rosie. She must be so confused. She goes into the vet with a sore mouth and ends up hurting at both ends!

Unfortunately, bunnies are very resourceful at showing how much they HATE each other. I hope your Rosie is feeling much better soon and that she has learnt not to poke her gorgeous nose into other people's runs!

Well I've been allowed in for a visit and she seems really well

She tried to nip Hudad when she had her Baytril but he was too quick for her. I don't blame her, Baytril is yuck!

But she was feeling well enough to grab Humum's jeans and push her out of the way when she wanted to get by and she is eating well and molesting her cuddly toy rabbit so I don't think she can be feeling too sore

Delighted to hear that she is being fiesty. That is always a good sign - unless you are on the receiving end.

Oh poor Rosie! Thats not the result she hoped for when she stuck her nosey nose through the mesh!
