Other names you call your buns and why :)

It's been a while since we had a nickname thread, so, what else do you call your bun(s) and why (if there's a reason)

Stewie only gets called 'Stewie' when he's being called for his meals, or to go outside or similar. if I'm talking about him to someone else, I'll sometimes call him Stewie Bunsta.

Most of the time he gets called 'the bear' or 'StuBear' - this is cos we watched a fab documentary about polar bears not long after we had him, and he's so white, 'bear' just sort of stuck!

'STUART' - usually when he's about to, or has just started to rip up carpet, or chew something, quickly followed by 'NO!'

****, ****, ******** rabbit, *******, *** rabbit - any of these when we find that we have a new portal in the carpet to a world that doesn't actually exist (apart from in his mind) or we have a new smoothed edge on the lounge door. Never said in and angry way though

'Rabbit' - Odd this one, as we didn't used to use this with Bertie, but usually used when we can't find Stewie, or haven't seen him for a while. We never use it in front of him. Eg 'Where the **** is the Rabbit?' or 'I can't find the rabbit - I'll check over the balcony' Sometimes used in descriptive conversation 'The Rabbit chew through your headphones again..'

Jelly gets called "The Beast", or "Beastie" , I very rarely actually call her Jelly, its just "beastie go away" "you little beast" - i am so mean!

Pebbles is just always called Pebbles, or...poppet!

And Domino is called Fatty, fatso, fatty bum bum, Dommy, or sometimes i call him ...FATTY DOM DOM!

Flopsy - Flops, Flopsy Doodles, Doodles forgot Doods!!

Flora - Flora Dora, Flaw, Flora Dora the explorer, Flora Flowerpot (she likes to sit in them),Madam, Minx

Flora gets madam and minx when she wont go in hutch on a night


Flopsy is a good little bun, bless him hence no mean names

They both also get sweetypie and angel

Great thread, some funny nicknames already, I especially like Fatty Dom Dom

Joey gets called a good selection of names - "Bubba" self explanatory
"Little One"
"Joeickle"
"Munchkin" and "Crunchkin" 'cos he's a little muncher!
"Snufflebumps"
"Monkey"
"Sausage"
"Goony" because he can be a dipstick sometimes
and "McGoogan" which came from a nickname we used to call our bridge bun Barney. So Joey became Joe McGoogan

Daisy is DaisyB when we are trying to attract his attention, or DAISYB (said sternly) if he is about to or is tucking into something he shouldnt! Normally this just results in a proud and cheeky binky!

Daiz, Daisy Monkey, Monkey, Monk, Monk fish......(you can see how this evolved)

When we are talking about him he is mostly "the little guy" or strangely "the monkfish"

He is also referred to as His Lordship too!

Thumper has a multitude of nicknames!
Thumpy
Thumps
Thumperette

When we are downstairs and she is looking at me she usually gets "what's up Bubba"
In the morning she is usually my "Fur baby"
She is often called "mummy's baby" when we are having bozy time.
She's "goober" when she's done something silly!

And randomly, for absolutely no reason, I call her "Boo" quite a lot

Bruce, Brucilosis (which is a cow disease), Brucifer, Brucie, boy (is a cornish thing), gorgeous, beautiful boy.

Florence, Flo, Florrie, Florabel, Florentina, lovely girl, sweet pea, baby girl, monster, beastie. I am not going to admit what I called her when she ate through one of the climbing roses that had just got properly going right at the base and in the late summer so it would not recover that year.

You all know by now that my bun is Mister Laurie and that he's known to all and sundry as Lil Loll and affectionately called Git Face by me. But he's also Binky-Boy, BonnyBouncyBinkyBuck and "The-Randy-Little Swine" when he humped our Ollie's head as he slept in his sleeping bag on the hearth rug.


Mister Toast O'Riley was generally called Pooh-Buck or Riley-Puddle-Buck.

Toffee was ToffeeToffeeToffeeToooooooooooooofffffffffffffffffffeeeeeeeeeee.

Truffle was Truff-Truff or TruffleHunter.

Mister Starbuck was Starry or Starzie-Boy.

Clawed............ well she was simply THE CLAWED!

No particular reason really! Just whatever rolls off the tongue at the time!

Blanche is also BR, B Ro, Blanche Devereaux (remember The Golden Girls!), The Devereaux, Devereaux in Disguise, Terreblanche (as in Eugene - his great white self).

Pepper gets called Pepper Prince. Skippy is Skippy Whippy, Skipster, Skip.
Penelope is Penny Lop! Hartley is Fat Rabbit! Hazel is Purple Haze, or Crazy Hazel. Parsley is Big Grey Rabbit. Florence is Flo, Flo Rence, Flossie or Fluffence.

Lil Loll is sometimes refered to as The Scutaceos One! Or Scuttle Buck!

Buttons is usually called monkey, cheeky, cheeky little monkey, b*gger face, trouble, Munchkin, Muppet, little licker (he just licks everything including me!!!), window licker, Little one, Mearkat, Twitchy, nosey, chicken, scaredy cat, Sir poo a lot (very reluctant to use the litter tray!!!) and Punk (he appears to always have a small Mohawk running down the centre of his back!)

Wow I didn't realise how many nicknames i have for him till now!!! No wonder he hasn't learnt his actual name!!!

They get all sorts of daft names!

Marley:
Marley man, monkey boy, marley farley, marles, fat boy.

Dolly:
Baby Doll, Dolls, Dolly Wolly, Miss Dolly, Madam, Dolly Monster, and a few others, which i cant repeat!

Skye: Skye ball, Skye rocket, eye ball, Skyebie, bug**r Lugs, Baby blue eyes.

Collectively:
Wiffers, hoppers, hairy hoppers, stinkers, hopsters, bunbuns, bunsters, bunskis.

No real reason for any of these though Most of them are daft!

Binky is also called Binks , he knows both ... Binky Boo (his nickname by the vet nurses) Recently Baby cakes due to poop issues

Pumpkin - Pumps ( latter is awful as my aunt used to call flatuence pumps and little pumpkin doesnt have this problem !) He responds to both.

Our late cat, Squeak, got Squeak monster, Squeaky thing (this was at 4am when she wanted breakfast - should I shut that Squeaky thing out, darling?) or Squeaky P
And our Harry, who went missing a few years back when he was 2 used to get Harry-Bo (get it?) or just Bo.
