What Breed...
Do you think Hazel is, I though she was a hare but i'm now thinking a rex maybe?

Re: What Breed...
I don't think she's a rex, she would barely have any whiskers or eye lashes if she was...as Thistle is surely lacking in both of these ha ha! Also her fur looks too long anyway. Perhaps she is just a mix breed?

Re: What Breed...
Flo is rex cross wild and has eyelashes and whiskers and is not dissimilar in colouring to Hazel. Hazels ears seem shorter - though it's hard to tell from you photos as she mostly has them folded back. I reckon she is a good old Heinz rabbit.

Re: What Breed...
I dont think she has a rex face, to me a rex only looks like a rex purely because of the fur, its what makes them unique and distinct. I wouldnt be suprised if she was a dutch cross just because of her unique shaped white chest marks, quite often dutch x's end up with random bits of the markings but nothing else, could be completely wrong though. Thing with bunnies is unless there is something obvious, you wouldnt have a clue. I mean, Jellys daughter looks identical to Jelly....so if someone told you her daughter was a lop x (as peanut was a lop) people would think you were off your head
unless its obvious, its hard to say i think x

I can see why you think dutch cross because when looking at Paris and then at Hazel they have similar face shape. x

Re: What Breed...
I wondered whether her mum had been a stray or something. Something in her face really does remind me of Florence, but whether it is the wild side or the rex side I am seeing I do not know. She does not look to have rex fur. Does it matter? She is very pretty.

Re: What Breed...
This is as close to head on shot as I have of Flo to hand, but I see a definite similarity in head shape.

Re: What Breed...
I would agree with SJ and say a dutch X, purely because of her white markings on her chest. She probably has a bit of all sorts in her though. x

Re: What Breed...
I thought Dutch X when I saw her. She has very defined and straight whisker, rexes have curly whiskers. There are Agoutu (wild) coloured Dutchies out there as well

To be honest that again could be down to being a dutch x, because like Jay says, theres agouti dutches
