Buggles, we are losing him - He's Gone

I think Buggles is getting ready ready to go to the Bridge, he isn't ill as such, he is just old and very tired

Buggles was removed from the previous owners by the RSPCA, he had dreadful teeth and has had regular dentals throughout the 3 years he's been here, he was taken in by another rescue and when he came to me he had a tooth growing through his cheek

He is a gay bunny and lives with my other gay bunny Frodo in the lounge

Oh bless, what lovely photos. My little Snuffie is eight ahd a half and he sleeps a lot too. However when food is put before him he is like a young bun again.

I hope all goes well love and please let us know how he is.

What a gorgeous old chap. I remember their "trashing of the living room" adventure!

How fab that he got to spend this time with you, roy and Frodo, truly happy.

I hope that if he does slip away it is peaceful for him.

Awww Sweet Buggles, I agree with Katieb I hope he goes peacefully when it is his time to pass on from this life.

How awful about his tooth, I was lucky with my bunny Stinky he would constantly grind his teeth, now my sister and brother in law years ago had two bunnies, outdoor ones and one's tooth started growing too long so my brother in law, who happens to be a dr, not a surgeon, he's a pediatrician, but I must say he certainly carves meat perfectly hehe ( seriously I really think he has surgical skills) but he watched how the vet trimmed the bunny's tooth and was able to do it himself...he is very talented like that.

But Buggles certainly has been blessed having you as his Mom. You rescued him from people who had no idea how to care for their bunny and gave him such good care.

Lets hope he can slip off as peacefully as my old man Chance.

Charlotte that is what I am praying for, I sat up with him until 4am and then Roy took over so as I could get some sleep, he is still with us but just sleeping peacefully

Is he permanently sleeping now? I do hope he goes peacefully to the bridge.

What a sweet little man, he is so so lucky to have you both and I'm sure he is comforted by having at least one of you there with him as he sleeps.

Oh how sad, I am so sorry that Buggles passed on...but my mother said after Stinky died and I was crying so much to just know he is in a far better place and that is a good way to look at it.
