Woodwench's buns past and present.

Woodwench has asked me if I would put some of her photo's on the forum for her
as she's not quite mastered Photobucket yet.
So here they are......

Dee's rabbits were all rescue's as is her present cheeky bun Mr Laurie)

Misty (Border Collie) and Riley. ( Riley or Mr Toast O'Riley as he was better known was
a cross bred French Lop and he and Misty were best buddies.


Sylph and Nova (Muntjac Deer) Sylph and her Fawn Nova who was just 5 months old.
This photo was taken on the 9th April 2003, three days before Sylph was hit by a car and killed

I didn't know lil lol was a nethie! Explains so much why he is similar in temperement to my little guy! He looks full of cheek!

I love the muntjacs and Misty the border collie

Lil Loll is supposed to be a Silver Fox. I know he was bred at a country park as a SF and I think he does look similar to a nethie but his ears are a tad longer and he's not quite so compact.
He came to me when his bro. whom he had lived with all his life, died and the two young girls who had had a bunny each and couldn't decide whose bun had died fought so much their parents decreed Loll should go! They had bought him as a SF and I checked back on the info they gave.... no nethies at the Park. So he's officially a SF.

Well you learn something new every day!

He is blimmin cute whatever he is!

He certainly has the silver fox colouring. I think he had a lucky escape from a couple of brats!

Knowing the Lollster as I do now, I'd say perhaps they had the lucky escape!
He's just tried ragging my trouser bottoms!

They are all gorgeous. I can't pick a favourite.

Maysie would tell you about Sylph and how upset I was.

I cried NONSTOP for 4 days! She's buried in my garden. We shared some wonderful times.

Oh it was heartbreaking when Dee (Woodwench) found Sylph in the road, I was very worried about her as she was so very very upset and I ended up in tears as well when she told me that Sylph hadn't turned up at her home so Dee went looking for her and found she had been run over and killed it was just awful

It must be truly amazing to live and get that close to the wildlife, i really envy that.

Must be heartbreaking to lose them though

Sylph had her fawn, Nova in my garden and used to leave him there all day, he was only about 20ft from my back door. She would follow me and Misty home from walks and rattle her hooves on the door step for food.
She was pregnant with a fawn when she was killed, it was due on my birthday.
She had 3 fawns while I knew her, Cherino (meaning Star), Kam (meaning Son) and Nova.
