Despite the names some are female. The boy in those pics is Robin, he died when he was 6 months old 
Not entirely sure what was wrong with but I think it was a thyroid problem, he drank so much water he literally drowned his lungs He was my first male hamster. See if I can list all of mine in order. Helen, Treacle, Patch, Smokey-Jo, Freddie, Ashley, Robin, Ali, Skittles, Cookie, Scampi, Bruno, Minty & Benny. That was all of my hamsters (I think) pretty sure I haven't missed any out. After Benny died I didn't get anymore as over the years I have developed an allergy to them and when I would pick them up I would come out in hives. I had owned hamsters since I was 9 years old up to 21
