Dark mornings and evenings
Do you think the dark mornings and evenings coming in affect buns like it can affect us? Feeling more tired etc?

Re: Dark mornings and evenings
On the contrary as far as Loll is concerned... he's more active. I've noticed his mad half hours have lengthened into insane forty-five minutes and these number at least three in the morning and five at night!
Summer hours seem to bring out the laziness in him... this summer he even went so far as to ask me for a fishing rod so he could go and relax by the local stream... to dangle his line and catch a few zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs.

Re: Dark mornings and evenings
I was just thinking about posting the same
My 2 are outside and Flopsy has been slowing down during the last year so no change there
Flora who is only 2 has always been a mad outside bun at every opportunity, even at 11pm - midnght refusing to go in even with treats
But the last week or so she's been tucked up in the hutch by the time its dark thats not Flora at all
I have only had her since March so not sure of how she'll be over the winter.
My buns behaviour has definately changed, well at leas Flora has

Re: Dark mornings and evenings
dunno, they boys are still mad as hatters and binky about most of the days but the girls are realy chilled out, just sitting with their chest puffed out, keeping warm even thought there is a massive hutch(es) for them to go in. Think once the shed is up Im gonna start and keep them in longer. Im buying bit and peices every week so once its up they have loads to do when they are in there as they do not entertain anything but eating and humping once out x
Re: Dark mornings and evenings
Thumper has been kinda the same. She's def not wanting to get up in the morning and is being a bit of a lazy bunny, if you talk and play with her, she is as bright as a button but the minute you leave her alone zzzzzzzzzzz!Josie wrote:I was just thinking about posting the same

When I put her up to her bedroom last night (after I posted asking) she jumped straight in to her bed (cage).
Thanks Woodwench and Evans for your replies too, looks like we are split 50/50 just now
Anyone else notice a change in their buns at this time of year?
