So sad, Poor Bunny.
There is a situation involving a little rabbit that is keeping me awake at night. She is struggling hugely with behavioural issues & nobody is fighting for her or trying to help her. I cant understand how she is surrounded by animal lovers, yet nobody is interested in her welfare. She just seems so angry to be in this world. I wish so much that I had enough space to put her at the end of a garden in a big attached hutch & run, with lots of places to hide & just let her live out her life. Away from people, and other animals, noise etc. I just don't know what to do to help her.

Awww is there any way you can get her out of this situation even if you temporarily took her in or maybe there is someone on here who can help.

I can't take her. I am utterly brassic, besides anything else. And any buns we do have temporarily have to live in the downstairs loo, which just would never be an option for her. To be honest, I just feel like there is a one in a million chance of finding her the right home.

Oh dear this is most upsetting if she is wanting to hide from the world and noise and people then she has huge behavioural problems Bless her, it sounds like she has a mistrust of humans and is very insecure and scared. ( I know that feeling too well)

Re: So sad, Poor Bunny.
Poor bun, and I know how you're feeling a bit, I have to look every day at the most bored unattended bunny I've known, and watch him just getting fatter and more angry - the angrier he gets, the more he's ignored, it's awful. I hope you can find a solutioin for this guy
Re: So sad, Poor Bunny.
Oh Becki, I wish there was something I could do to help.
I hope a way to help her can be found.

This is so sad poor little thing, why doesn't anyone want to help them.
I suppose people just dont think they have the time. It's sad when people say a rabbit has behavioural problems, simply because they don't get enough interaction and then get even less attention because of their worsening behaviour.

We did discuss it last night as I showed Mike the thread as Grace was just like that when we got her and although she dislikes children she is a 100% better than she was, and it's sad because I know we could turn it around for this poor bunny but we have 23 bunnies to care and look after and the boarding side of it now. There is only Mike and I and at times it is very hard work especially if one of us is ill and the other has to take over. Jess and Lucy Rose are in the boarding shed at the moment which is ok as we haven't anybody booked in. Mike has made Jess a nice big hutch which will be going in the garage soon until we can get her bonded with Kenzo and he will be making Lucy Rose's next until she can be bonded with Barry.
It's time and space as well, which we don't really have at the moment sadly.
We did discuss last week calling it a day on the boarding side and turn it into a rescue shed but we really need an income to help with the vet bills and food and hay as we buy in bulk and we have met so many lovely people since doing boarding and some have become good friends and I would hate to let them all down as I look forward to seeing them and looking after their bunnies.
But I do feel very guilty when I read about bunnies like this as I feel I should be helping them and I get upset that I can't as I feel I'm letting them down. Perhaps if we hadn't taken on Lucy Rose I'm sure we would have.
But we would be willing to do a bunny run from one place to another if it helped and got this bunny a home quicker.

Sorry haven't been able to reply to this, had a works dinner that didn't finish until midnight so just collapsed into bed. Thank you for the response and offers of help, its so lovely just to be able to vent to people understand how much I have pained over this for over a month. I cant say anything at the moment as nothing is finalised, but I think we may have hope for this little one. Fingers crossed xx
(Also Maysie, Thank you so much for being so caring - I absolutely understand that we all have our limits, and however many we do manage to help, there is always one more.....Thankyou xxx)
