So im looking for some ideas on which type of grass is the best for buns. I have 2 seperate spaces at the bottom of the garden which are quite large and not doing anything so im gonna cover them in 2 different types of grass and put chicken wire round the out side till they are a good length, as my lawn has almost none left, Ive never cut it in 2 months!!!! the buns just chomp chomp chomp lol

What do you recon which should I get?

I buy daisy Timothy grass seeds to grow but I'm not sure how hardwearing it is as I grow it in pots. He loves it though! You might be best with a hardy fast growing variety x x

Farm and equestrian suppliers sell specific grazing grass seed for horses. Horses and buns have very similar digestive needs so I reckon that would be the best option.

You could maybe put some mesh over it to protect the roots while it grows, or bunny will just pull them all up before they get a chance to grow fully. I wish I had somewhere to seed them, only way can think is to do a tub or kids sandpit with top soil then put mesh over and grow it like that.
