Building another avairy!

I have decided to build the trio an avairy. It will have to fit on the patio so can't be too huge but will measure approx 1.8 mtr by 1.40 mtrs and be 1.40 mtrs high. It's costing a bloomin' fortune so I hope they will appreciate it! I have the back and one side panel done, just need to do the other side and the front with a door and attach the roof. I will put one of the 5ft hutches in and the trixie house on top of that. It should be a bit warmer for them this year once the tarp is secured to keep the elements out.

Almost there, my hands have blisters on blisters! Hopefully will have most of it done tomorrow so the buns can move in....

I'm glad I'm not the only one that does DIY in the living room.

well it was drizzling in the garden and my boy wanted to watch Ice Age, plus it saves me kneeling down on the patio slabs

Tomorows job is to dismantle the current hutches and run and then put this one in place on the patio. I then need to tack on the tarpaulin to keep the wind and rain out, move the trio's furniture back in, link it to the tunnels and job done!

My handsome little helper




The trio moved in thsi afternoon, they don't seem very impressed. They don't like change and object by using everywhere as a litter tray so I expect it'll be a bomb site in the morning!

I've ordered some clear pvc for the whole of the front so I can see them from the patio window. I'm really pleased with it, thing is as soon as I get in, the girls run off down the tunnel and Vince hangs about long enough to see if I have any treats then he runs off too. Such a friendly bunch my lot

Haha I hope they come round because I'm really impressed with it and think they're very lucky bunsters!
